Shay Johnson
As one of the most recognizable reality Television personalities, Shay Johnson first stepped into the entertainment scene as a video vixen in several music videos with artist such as T. I., Young Dro, Fabulous and more. It wasn't until her appearance on the wildly popular dating show, “Flavor of Love 2” in early 2006 that Shay Johnson's fame and popularity propelled to stardom as she stole the show with her sweet yet tough persona. Shortly thereafter Shay appeared in various magazines such as Smooth Magazine, Sophisticates Black Hair Magazine and even graced the covers of Ja'Dore Magazine and King Magazine.
Shays perusal of acting came next as she was featured on shows such as The Tyra Banks Show, 106 & Park, MTV's Ozone Awards and "The Pocketbook Monologues " which featured Kandi Burruss (Atlanta House Wives) Tamara Johnson (SWV), Ella Joyce, Essence Akins, Lisa Woo and more.
After a gust appearance on The Frank and Wanda Morning Show (one of the top radio shows in the country) Shay took a swing at radio. She started to guest co-host in the mornings at the radio station 107.9 with Atlanta's own "A Team" (another top radio station in Atlanta). Carving her own path to celebrity, when VH1 asked Ms. Johnson to join a new show they were creating called "Charmed School" hosted by comedian Mo'Nique, Shay jumped at the opportunity! With ratings and viewership in the 4 million mark, Shay rose to the top as one of VH1's Favorite Reality Bad Girls!
Taking her fame and success to the next level Shay embarked on several other entrepreneurial projects that included Network Marketing, a line of I-Phone merchandise, and became the spokesperson for "Bread Girlz" (Tee Shirt Line based out of New Orleans) but she didn't stopping there! Shay Johnson has also been endorsed by X-Box, PlayStation and has appeared in movies, stage plays, and began developing a charitable organization that's mission is to give back to urban youth.
Currently you can find the multi-talented actress and philanthropist working on a luxury hair extension line, Shay J. Bliss, shooting a fitness video and appearing in Vh1's network favorite reality show "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” as friend, lover and sometimes enemy to longtime friend, rapper Lil Scrappy. "I love being in front of the camera, It feels like home to me!" She says. “I love my fans for loving and supporting me" and love her they do, with a combined total of 1. 5 million social media fans, Shay Johnson continues to be a face the world recognizes and welcomes with open arms!
